Breakthrough in Ultra-lightweight Aluminum Wheel Hub Technology

　　Recently, at the seminar on "Ultra-lightweight Aluminum Hub Technology and Development Strategy of China Automobile Industry" held in Beijing, we learned that Huatai Aluminum Hub Co., Ltd. has made breakthroughs in key technologies of Ultra-lightweight Aluminum Hub after years of hard work, and has obtained "AWGP (Aluminum Hub Pressure Field) technology" and "Composite Aluminum Wheel". The two patents of Hub Manufacturing Technology have realized the independent innovation of "Ultra-lightweight Aluminum Hub" technology, which has greatly improved the production efficiency of products and achieved the effect of "casting instead of forging" in material properties. The test results of the authoritative automotive parts inspection organization show that Huatai's three test results of "bending fatigue test, radial fatigue test" and "impact test" are all qualified. Zhang Xinxin, president of Huatai Aluminum Hub Co., Ltd., introduced that their newly developed series of products, which weighed 6.4KG and 15*6 traditional aluminium hubs, reduced their weight to 4.7KG (26.5%) after ultra-lightweight, and 20*8.5 traditional aluminium hubs weighed 14.5KG, reduced their weight to 11 after ultra-lightweight. KG (24.13%). Experts at the meeting pointed out that if Huatai ultra-lightweight aluminum hub technology can be popularized and applied, it will change the situation that China's aluminum hub depends on low-price competition in the international market, and it is entirely possible to achieve a leap from a major producer of aluminum hub to a powerful country.
